Rusty-Camacho

Mr. Camacho began training in traditional Tang Soo Do as a member of Suncoast Tang Soo Do and the World Tang Soo Do Association in 2006.  His martial arts interests include traditional form (Hyung) training, weapons training, the art of breaking (Kyuck Pa) and self-defense. Mr. Camacho has been instructing youth and adult students at SCTSD since 2011.  Mr. Camacho works in the trucking industry and lives in Hudson with his family (his son and nephew who are both Black Belt students at SCTSD).

“I became a martial arts instructor because I wanted to pass down what Tang Soo Do has taught me. To me training in martial arts is more than just learning the skills to kick and punch, it’s also the life lessons I have learned much along the way, and use it every day. It’s given me personal discipline, confidence and empowered me to overcome my own personal challenges and to set personal goals. As an instructor at Suncoast Tang Soo Do my goal is to help all students succeed, both inside and outside the karate school.  Over the past several years I have seen our students meet their own personal goals, and overcome challenges. It is great to see that several students have become leaders and instructors in our school“– Mr. Rusty Camacho, 2021
